What is the 10 minute club you ask. Well it was an idea I came about when I had taken my niece to her first beehive interview with her beehive leader. And they asked me if my niece had mentioned to me about their 10 minute club.
Then they told me that the 10 minute club was a club for the young women to join and make a commitment to work in there personal progress book for 10 minutes a week. And if they did that a week at the end of every month they would get a treat or a prize.
So I thought what a great idea. 10 minutes a week is not that much to ask for. So I thought how could I implement that into my life. Then I came up with the idea. Why not have a 10 minute club with my whole family. Including the kids and even me and the husband.
So the way it works is that each person in my family commits to reading any church published material, for instance the Scriptures or any books, manuals, articles and magazines issued directly from the church (church distribution center or Lds.org resources)
We only take 10 minutes out of our day and read something uplifting. This is the time I usually get a chance to catch up on my Relief Society reading "Gospel Principles book" or the "Ensign". And then every day we mark it in our family 10 min club chart sheet (the kids have one in each of their binders).
feel free to click on the image and save and print for your own use. Anyways I felt like this might be of interest to you moms. Who have always wanted to start a club (yay now your the club leader!!!...lol) Hope this helps a little I know it has helped me and my family out a lot. I can't believe my husband is even trying. He has such a busy schedule and works so hard but even he knows 10 minutes isn't even to much to ask for. So hopefully this helps you out this New Years!!!!
Love you all- HAPPY THURSDAY!!!!
