I'm so excited!!.....I finally got all my kids papers submitted for k12 and they just were approved. So now I wait for the materials to arrive. I did receive access to the website to start viewing courses. My Login and password worked, and as soon as I logged in I was expecting an email from the teacher or the school and a welcome. But did not receive any. I then clicked on the contact your teacher link to find out who one of their teachers were, but they were not assigned one yet. So I'm wondering what to do?.......Its not self explanatory you kind of have to click a bunch of things to find the tutorials. I do wish they would have a teacher ready when they approve a student, Because I feel kind of lost.
But I know I can figure things out and I will contact them to find out who it is.
Other then that I'm totally excited and can't wait to spend some time with my kids. I truly feel like this is what they need and I'm determined to follow through with the prompting I received to home school them in the first place.
I'm sad I have to pull them out of school from their friends in the middle of the school year but I feel they will be just fine. They have a very social life after school and tons of cousins that live close by. So they won't lack companionship.
I will miss things that the school offers. Such as Destany's Dare program that she just graduated from.
I love to watch her get excited for things like that.
I will miss things like reflections contest that my girls just entered and took first place in, for film and dance.
I will miss their holiday party's that my little Jewelz just loves. And her excitement about playing with her friends on the playground.
But it's not enough to change my mind. Plus I heard they can still in roll in reflections, choir and orchestra as long as the school agrees.
So hopefully the school will agree. If not it's okay I can hold my own competitions here.
Well looking forward to my materials and can't wait to start. Stay in tune for my pictures of all the supplies when they arrive.
Have a blessed Thursday.
